When the University of Virginia launched its most ambitious research initiative ever, they wanted to tell the story, and reached out to Silverthorn to meet the challenge. Nearly 80 cross-disciplinary teams came together to do the most creative, collaborative, and consequential research the world of higher education has ever seen.
Silverthorn scheduled, interviewed, and recorded over 300 faculty, grad students, and labs in the course of one semester to create vignettes showcasing the work of each individual collaboration. Our goal was to focus on what it means to build new teams, the impact of this research, and to distill the details of each project in ways that were as meaningful as the larger endeavor.
